Have a Joyful Thanksgiving and a VIDEO

Hi stampers!
Tuesday over at My Sweet Petunia blog here means that one of the My Sweet Petunia Design team members is taking over the blog and sharing their creations. So, today it my turn.

However before I go into my eye candy I have over there , I wanted to let you know that My Sweet Petunia is having a store wide sale this week. 20% off everything in the store. No code is necessary and the discount will be applied at checkout! So, if you have been on the verge of getting your first MISTI, or the 2nd or your 10th, now it's the time! You can visit the store HERE

And, now it's time to move to the eye candy. I have two cards for you today and a video! Since Thanksgiving is in couple days (in the US) I decided to go with Fall/Thanksgiving theme and used the Concord and 9th Dahlia turnabout stamp set and dies, the Hero Arts Have a Joyful thanksgiving wood mount stamp and the new Catherine Pooler Spa Collection inks!
The Concord and 9th turnabout stamps are designed to be used with the MISTI. So I stamped the dahlia three times with Sauna, Daydream and Green tea inks, then for the 4th I stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Hero Arts Copper Embossing powder. Then using 2 sets of Creative corners I created little positioning tool for wood mount stamps and the MISTI and magnets on the corners helped keep it in place in the MISTI, so stamping was a breeze. Watch the video below on how I did that. For my 2 card I did almost the same process, except for the last step of the dahlia instead of stamping, I die cut it, using the coordinating dies.
I kept my cards simple because I wanted the focus to be on the Dahlia and the sentiment.

Hero Arts: Color Layering Koala

Hi Stampers! Happy weekend!

I have a quick post for you today to share a card I made using the Hero Arts color layering Koala and the Bamboo bold prints. I stamped the koalas using the gray shade inks onto snow layering paper and die cut them. As well as I die cut a circle from vellum.
I stamped the background onto foliage layering papers with Versamark and embossed with Ultra Fine embossing powder.
Next I took a strip of black card stock and stamped the sentiment and embossed in ultra fine clear embossing powder. Next I assembled the card and finished with green sequins.

Enjoy and hope you are inspired to create today

Impression Obsession: 'Tis the Season

Hi stampers!
Welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge. This week the challenge is "Tis the Season".  I decided to use the Merry Penguin set along with the Penguins skating stamp set (sentiment only) and do some embossing. I stamped the images using Black, Cherry and Orange ink pads, then over stamped using the MISTI with Versamark and embossed with Ultra Fine clear embossing powder. I die cut the images, stamped sentiment on my panel and adhered the elements using foam adhesive. Then assembled my card.

Make sure you visit the blogs of the rest of the DT for more inspiration!

Paradise found blog hop

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to Day #2 of the Catherine Pooler's new release! The new Paradise Found release is now LIVE in Catherine Pooler’s online store. This release consists of eight AMAZING inks from her new Spa Collection, two new stamp sets (with available coordinating dies), a background stamp, and two new dies.
Products from the Naturally Inspired Stamp of Approval collection is also available for individual sale in Catherine’s store. The only exception is the All That Jazz ink pad from that collection. It won’t be available for purchase until some time in 2018.
Since there are so many new items, check out What’s New section in Catherine’s store to find the new items this release. They are some yummy sequins too, and glitter embossing powder!!!
You should have arrived here from Catherine’s blog, but if you didn’t, you can find the whole blog hop list at the bottom of this post.
And your next stop will be Laurel Beard and you don't want to miss her amazing creations.
Now let's move to the cards. For my first one I used the Birds of a Feather set and coordinating dies. I stamped the feather in Sauna ink and embossed with WOW gold glitter embossing powder only part of it. I die cut couple feathers and embossed them. I stamped the sentiment in Versmark and embossed with the same embossing powder. I did same with the sentiment. When I had all the elements I assembled my card.

For my next card I used the "Wonderful time of the year" set. I first created my watercolor wash using : Daydream, Royal Treatment and Juniper Mist ink pads. Then stamped the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. For the snowflakes I used Wow Silver Glitter embossing powder. I added some sequins and adhered to black note card.

I am in LOVE with this Plain Background! I stamped it on black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. I used the already released Merry and Bright Boughs set to create the sentiment and I used Peppermint Scrub and Eucalyptus ink  pads for the berries, heart and branches. The little heart is from the Birds of a Feather set ;)

For my last, but not the least card today I used the new Wonderful Time of the year and did some multi color/ombre stamping using my MISTI. I used Green Tea and Eucalyptus ink pads for the branches. For the ornaments I combined Juniper Mist, Royal Treatment and the Aquatini ink pad from the Party collection. Then stamped the top parts with Versamark (using my MISTI) and embossed with Silver Glitter embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Merry and Bright Boughs and stamped it with Juniper Mist ink pad. Added some sequins and adhered to my Navy card base.

November My Monthly Hero and Giveaway!

Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday! It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's time for the new My Monthly Hero kit and  Blog hop for the new November kit. I love the winter and Holiday theme of the kit and all the add-ons and all the possibilities!

Let's take a look at the main kit!

 Kit contents
6x8 Clear Set
4 Tag Dies
4 Shaped Dies
60 Assorted Gift Tags (ornament, star, tree & snow flake: colored, kraft, white)
10 yards of red & white baker's twine
2 Delicata Ink Cubes (Golden Glitz + Celestial Copper)
The value of the kit is $72, but it is sold at $34.99.

There are also some awesome, optional add-on products this month - 4 stamp sets, coordinating, fancy and infinity dies, a paper layering die, background stamps and a stencil. I think my favorite is the Winter Animals!
Now, you have probably arrived here from May's blog, and if you haven't trust me you don't want to miss her amazing projects. So go back to her blog or start from the beginning(the Hero Arts blog) and if you arrived here from her blog, then you are on the right track and your next stop will be Heather's blog(and you don't want to miss her project, either).

Now, onto my project. I will start with the 2 I shared over at the Hero Arts blog, in case you missed them! You can head over on the blog for the complete details of these first projects using the main kit. First is the felt ornaments, I used the dies from the kit along with some Felt and Frost and Champagne sequins packs, some thread and seed beads! My kids want me to make lot more to decorate our WHOLE Christmas tree with these this year!
Next is tags that can serve as ornaments, too, again using the main kit. Again full details are over on the Hero Arts Blog!
Next up is a trio of cards that I created using the Snowflake bold prints. I stamped it on Snow card stock with Versamark, then embossed with white and silver then blended some Bubble Gum and Antigua inks. For my card bases I applied ink directly from the ink pad on the sides and then adhered the panels. I did same on another piece of card stock, let it dry then stamped the little sentiments and embossed. For the silver one, I die cut circle from the inked card stock using the Circle infinity dies, then stamped and embossed with Silver. I used 3 different stamp and cut sets for the sentiments and die cut words. I die cut 4 of each and adhered them together for dimension. I applied versamark on the "wonderful" one and embossed 3 times with silver embossing powder. Then assembled my cards.

Next up is a card using the Paper Layering Santa Tag. I am not a Santa person, but this Santa is too cute, so I had to use him.  I die cut him and at same time applied Silver Foil with my GoPress and Foil Machine, so it adds little bit silver on all of the edges for a nice look. Then colored him with my Chameleon Pens added Nuvo Drops and Glaze, stamped in Royal Red land cut the little label from the Holiday Badges set and assembled my card!

And I had to make a card using my favorite add-on set, Winter Animals. I used Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper and created my galaxy using some Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, alcohol and salt, and white gel pen. Then for the snow I used Finetec opalescent watercolors. I stamped the images and sentiments with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Using the MISTI I stamped the images again and embossed with sparkle embossing powder (didn't stamp the sentiment 2nd time). Then assembled my card and spayed with Shimmer Spray.

Last, but not the least, it's a card I made using the Happy Hanukkah set. I created my background using some Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper and Gansai Tambi watercolors. After it was dry I stamped the image and sentiment with Veramark and embossed with white embossing powder. Sprayed with Shimmer spray and assembled my card.
