Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop

Hi stampers!
I have fun summery card for you today. I decided to participate in the coffee lovers blog hop and I was inspired by Wendy from Sugar Pea Designs to make this card. I used 2 new Stampin' Up! sets : Fabulous Flamingo and Coffee cafe (along with coordinating dies). I stamped the cups first with Soft suede, next I masked around the cups and stamped the flamingoes (this way you don't see lines outside of the cups. Then stamped the leaves and the whipper cream and straws. I die cut everything and assembled my card.

Don't have SU! items, you can totoally recreate this card using 2 Hero Arts sets: Coffee cup tags and Color Layering Flamingo.

A Muse Studio Sneak Peek Day #3 - Dear Friend

Hi Stampers!

Welcome to day #3 of A Muse studio sneak peeks. Today I am featuring the Dear Friend stamp set, that I actually combined with couple sentiments from the Banner Sentiments set. I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves using Cotton Candy, Marigold and Grass die inks. Next I stamped the sentiments on sugar card stock panels. Adhered to card bases (cotton candy and grass) and added pearls and sequins. Pretty easy, but I LOVE how they turned out!

Make sure you visit the A Muse studio blog ( I have another card up on the A Muse Blog), and the rest of the Design team blogs for more sneak peeks!

A Muse Studio Sneak Peek Day 2 - Banner Sentiments

Hi Stampers!

Welcome to Day #2 of the A Muse studio sneak peeks for the new release. Today I am showcasing the new set Banner sentiments. This set coordinates with the already released set Be Brave and the coordinating dies, however the banners are blank, so you can add any sentiment you like.
For my card I repeatedly stamped the "you are awesome" sentiment with Bermuda Dye ink on panel from sugar card stock. Then stamped the banner and the circle label and then the sentiments inside of them. I colored with copics and die cut them. Next I assembled my card and voila ;)

Make sure you visit the A Muse studio blog ( I have another card up on the A Muse Blog), and the rest of the Design team blogs for more sneak peeks!

A Muse Studio July Sneak Peeks Day 1 - Summer Blooms

Hi Stampers!
I am so sorry for the silence. Well, not really. We were out of town on family vacation, in Florida. So I took a break from creating and posting, besides the regular scheduled posts last week.
We are back now and I am trying to get back to regular daily routines and back to reality.

And it's actually that time of the month to start sharing A Muse Studio sneak peeks for the July release.
Today I am showcasing the new set called Summer Blooms (the July release will be available for purchase on Friday). I stamped the images with versamark ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with white embossing powder. In the next step I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush to color them.
Using the coordinating dies I die cut the flowers and leaves and set them aside.
I die cut 3 Hello sentiments from Onyx card stock and adhered them together to get an dimensional element.
For my background. I scribbled couple of the blue Zig markers onto aluminum foils and added some water from my water brush, then I smushed around in it my watercolor paper panel. Let it dry.
Once dry arranged the flower elements and the sentiment die cut. Next using a fun foam I adhered to Onyx card base. To finish off your card adhere few Onyx sequins.

Oh My Stars - IO Stamps Challenge

Hi stampers!
It's time for another IO challenge. This round the challenge is "Oh my stars", where you can use stars or patriotic. I decided to do a little more colorful and cheery birthday card using star dies and the birthday stamp saying" Birthdays: the more you have ,the longer you live"
I cut the stars from colored card stock. Then stamped the sentiment using the IO stamps new hybrid black ink pad, then adhered the stars and using fun foam adhered my panel onto white card base.

Make sure you visit the blogs of the rest of the DT for more inspiration! And don't forget to play along for a chance to win IO Stamps gift certificate.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Hi stampers!
Happy Wednesday! Today I am back with couple Stampin' Up! cards. I used the Happy Birthday gorgeous set to make these two cards. I love this set because it's so versatile. I stuck with simple cards.
I started with a panel of Whisper white card stock that measures 3 3/4" x 5" and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment using the MISTI tool. I stamped several panels (I made only 2 cards, but I have few more panels with the sentiment left for future use - the beauty of the MISTI tool!)
Next for the circle framed sentiment card I cut a circle using the stitched shaped framelits from sticky note and positioned it over my sentiment. Next I stamped the images (flowers and leaves) all over my panel. (when I stamp multiple images I try to stick with odd number of the same image stamped onto my paper). Next I removed the stikcy note and voila. I used some fun foam to adhere my panel onto Tranquil tide card base.

For my second card I stamped the images on the sides of the sentiment. For the first step I stamped off on the side, then on the card stock, so I get lighter color. Then for the second step I used full intensity ink pad. (meaning, I didn't stamp off on the side before I stamped onto my card panel). When I was done I adhered my panel onto Lemon Lime Twist card base.

These cards are so easy to mass produce, so you can make bunch and have on hand for birthdays or any other occasions.

Hi all,
I am back. I just wanted to share something you don't want to miss. The new  Concord and 9th June Release is LIVE! It's my favorite one. And LOOK at the   Flower Turnabout Stamp ! I can't wait for my order to arrive!

When all else fails

Hi stampers!
Happy Friday. Sorry for the silence this week, I was busy creating for DT assignments that I can't show you, yet and as well work. But I do have this cute card to share with you today. I used the new A Muse Set Let's be Mermaids and the coordinating dies. I created a shaker card. For the glittery background I used some adhesive sheets and Mermaid glitter. I made the window using the Stitched Circle windows. Added some sequins. Stamped, colored with Copics the elements (mermaid, star fish and sea horse) and die cut them. Then I assembled my card. I hope you enjoy it and you are inspired to create something today!

Hi Stampers!

I had lots of fun and of course I didn't have enough time to execute all my ideas. I have some videos for my projects too, that will post tonight. (I lost track creating, so didn't get chance to edit my videos).

2 sheets of 5.5" x 8.5" metallic quartz cardstock (105 lb. cover weight)

The kit value is $73, an amazing deal at $34.99.

Here's a quick look at the add ons, too!

If you are hopping along, you will head over Michelle Short blog after my blog ( so if you get bored with this long post, you can head over there any time :P)
Scroll to the bottom for the full blog hop list and give away details. I added the supplies under each projects, so you know what is used on which project!

For my first set of cards I used used my MISTI tool to stamp pattern onto the elephant using few background stamps. I stamped the elephant, then removed the pad of the MISTI and positioned the background stamp on the bottom with face up. Inked it up with White pigment ink and closed the door of the MISTI. This allowed the pattern to transfer to the elephant stamp. Next, I put back the mat and my card and stamped on it. So the pattern transferred exactly at the same spot where the first elephant was stamped. I more than a dozen of these elephants, then die cut them using the coordinating die. You can use Versamark ink and emboss with clear embossing powder for the pattern. I did that for one of the tangerine elephants. For the background, I stamped my cars with the same bold prints background stamp and versamark and embossed with ultra fine embossing powder. Then assembled my cards.
To step it up a level, you can use some transfer foil and laminator (or MINC machine) to add some shine to the elephants you embossed. (just an idea) ( or the background)

I kept my next card pretty simple. I blended a piece of white card stock using : Mulled wine, strawberry, tangerine and dandelion  bold inks and adhered onto white card. I swiped tangerine ink on the sides of the white card.Adhered my black panel that was previously cut using the fancy die from the kit (removed the cloud on the bottom right) adhered lion and tree. At the end I stamped "Hakuna matata)

Next, for the background I used distress oxides to blend my background. After it was all blended I marked circle area (used infinity dies to cut the circle) and applied some water, daubed it off ( to get that faded sun look in the background). After it was completely dry I stamped my images, trimmed the panel, adhered to layer of black card stock and adhered to one of the Sunshine note cards.

Now something little different. I used my MISTI to stamp the clusters of elephants and stamped with different shades of gray. I positioned the stamps in the MISTI, then picked up with the lid. Next I just moved my card stock (left, right, up and down ) to cover the panel with elephant images.

This card is similar with the one above, It's just smaller scale. I just had to use the monkeys!!!!

I  got your back! I just LOVE this stamp. Maybe because it brings me to my childhood when I was 3-4 or even 5 yrs old. I loved my parents scratching my back. lol. and asked them often to do so. So I had to use it! I stamped the image with the Intense Black ink pad and colored with copic markers ( E21-E29, YG17, YG01-YG07, BG10 and BG11). Cut with circle infinity die and assembled my card.

I have a video for this card that I will post later today. But I used my memory MISTI to stamp the suitcases. I adhered it to black card base, added the strip with white embossed sentiment.
